Goldenbook "Harley's Holiday"

Description: A large format storybook which is an adaptation of the episode Harley's Holiday designed for younger-readers. It is a 'My Favourite Sound Story' so it has a selection of sounds in a recorded speaker-player thingy and you press them when indicated to in the story. The Good: Beautifully laid out wth gorgeous Bruce Timm illustrations so Harley is looking her absolute best. The sounds are very cute - Harley's 'kiss and laugh' sound is sooo gorgeous. It has profiles of Batman, Robin and Harley and 'fun activities' at the end. The Bad: It is aimed for younger readers so it's pretty simplistic! *laughs* But nothing, really. It's a really pretty adaptation. Overall: 5/5 Recommended: I literally spent my last $20 on this when I discovered it in K-Mart a hundred years ago. It was so unexpected to find something Harley related in Australia I HAD to have it and I knew I might not get the chance again. I don't know anyone else who has one. So... if you can find it... for SURE. :) |
