Harlequinade

Main Stars:
The Joker
Harley Quinn
Batman
Robin

Voice Talent:
Mark Hammill
Arleen Sorkin
Kevin Conroy
Loren Lester

Writer:
Paul Dini
Director:
Kevin Altieri

Synopsis:
Joker has stolen an A-Bomb but declined to leave any clues as to his whereabouts. In order to track him down, Batman is obliged to recruit the one and only Harley Quinn – with – interesting results!

The Good:
Everything.
Ha ha ha. Okay, maybe I’m just a bit sentimental over this one, but it was Harley’s first own starring episode, and it was the first full-length episode starring Harley I ever watched.
But seriously, this episode is pure. Gold. Harley even gets to sing! It’s so fabulous! This remains, I believe, Harley’s best starring episode of the animated series, yes even coming ahead of Harley & Ivy! (if we’re considering it purely from a Harley-as-star perspective)
Other great things about this ep are the dynamics between Joker & Harley and Harley & Batman. Bats is soooo serious and Harley soooo unexpected for dear old B-Man.

The Bad:
It could’ve been another hour or so longer! ;)

Overall:
5/5

Recommended:
Oh heck. If you haven’t seen this yet, make it a point.
